How do I pay for Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP)?
The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) is billable through Maryland Medicaid. Private payment is also accepted.
How can I become eligible for PRP?
Adults 18 + need a Referral from a Licensed Mental Health Professional; have an Axis I diagnosis from a Licensed Mental Health Professional and currently have Maryland Medicaid or Private Pay
How long will I receive PRP services?
The length of time depends on the individual's needs, commitment, and attendance.
What type of accreditation or licensing does the program have?
Continuing Care Treatment Plan is Accredited by the Joint Commission. Its primary purpose is to ensure that health care organizations maintain a high level of patient care and safety through rigorous evaluation processes.
Do you dispense medication like Suboxone or Methadone?
No, only a trained & licensed methadone doctor provide the medication.
How often will I meet with my PRP Counselor/case manager?
Each client has an individualized plan to meet their specific needs. Usually, adults will meet with their case manager 6 times per month.
What happens during a PRP/case management meeting?
PRP Rehabilitation Counselors will meet with clients for one to two hours during each visit. We usually like to meet in a location that is comfortable for you such as your house or a community setting. During these meetings, the client is an active participant and is responsible for working towards the goals set out in their Individualized Rehabilitation Plan.
Do you provide Transportation?
Yes, We offer transportation services to our clients who need help in getting to their appointments.
